When you enter a contest this way, it will show up in your “Today’s Contests” listings at the appropriate times. It also goes into our contest publishing tool and, if it appears to be something that might interest others, may end up on the front page of ContestCanada.net.

Regarding the option to display only Canadian contests: I like the idea, and I’m working on that change right now. I expect I’ll be able to update the site tomorrow.

I’m also going to rename the “My Contests” button, as it is a bit misleading. I meant for it to be a way to get back to the contest listings after you’ve done something else, like a search. I think I’ll change the name to “Today’s Contests”, so that it’s more consistent with the rest of the site.

And I’ll also be adding a filter called “Created by me” that will show only the contests that you’ve entered.

Hopefully these changes will make the “new contests” functionality a bit more intuitive.
